The messages and values our text will push towards the audience will be that 'good defeats evil' and that women can be strong and independent. The ideology of 'good defeats evil' is a very dominant ideology in typical Hollywood films and this links to our generic conventions of action adventure films. However the one of women being strong and independent is an alternative ideology as usually shown as weak and in need of help. But the woman in our teaser trailer is working for a company that is run by a male and so it could be said that the male is still in charge in our teaser trailer which is again a very dominant ideology in Hollywood films. The audience could read these ideologies as strange because a woman is stronger than the males but they will accept the ideology as nowadays women and men are fairly equal.
