We have tried to create this by using our female protagonist to play a sexy, independent character throughout our teaser trailer. With our logo which we created, we chose a font called 'Sanitisation Bold'

We have tried to create this by using our female protagonist to play a sexy, independent character throughout our teaser trailer. With our logo which we created, we chose a font called 'Sanitisation Bold'

We chose thisfont because no just is it strong and bold, and that is our brand image, but it has a slight curve on the edges, which gives it feminine look, which fits perfect with our genre and brand image. We turned the letters 'miss' into red so that this would help enhance the feminine independence we are trying to create. We chose this title of our film as Emissary means an agent sent on a mission to represent the interests of someone else. This definition creates a strong independent character image, and this is why we chose it.
We also carried this brand image across our ancillary tasks and our teaser trailer. We used fast paced editing to create a strong tension and we used a few cross dissolves to add interest and a sense of femininity as the cross dissolve is quite a delicate transition.
In our Film poster we used a picture of 'Grace Stafford' (our actress) were she was posing, looking down at a gun that she was holding, we put this image on top of a picture we took of a city background.
We placed the title across the bottom in the centre, so our overall poster was minimalistic but created a strong bold image and clearly identified the genre and brand image of the film.
On the Magazine front cover we took a studio picture
and cut round her and put it on a white background, of Grace to place on the front, we did this to create the sexy, sassy, independent women image. The white background makes the front cover look professional but it is also a juxtaposition as we have created a sexy independent women character and we are putting her against a white background which has connotations.
Branding is very important to film production as it is used to advertise a film. Film companies spend on average half the amount of their budget on just advertising and creating the right brand image. Through Branding you create an image which links the audience to the film. This image is repeated so that audiences have the image fixed in their minds. To create a successful brand it needs to be consistent throughout the range of products we are promoting. We found that our teaser trailer fit well into the studio 20th Century Fox as they typical Hollywood films as they have produced films such as Elektra (www.imdb.com/title/tt0357277/) and X Men (www.imdb.it/title/tt0120903/) which are the same type of genre as what we are thinking of looking at for our own teaser trailer; spy action adventure films with sexy females characters. So we believed that 20th Century Fox would produce our own film as it produces films of a similar genre to ours.
