This is one of the earliest teaser trailers to ever be made for Superman in 1978. It does not show any highlights from the film itself but yet we get a clear understanding of the film and it's genre by the use of stars, flying and simply the logo. It raises awareness of the film to the audience.
This is the official theatrical trailer for toy story 3. It is different to a teaser trailer in the way that it lasts on average about 2-3mins and has a varied number of clips from the film. The teaser trailer however shows no clips at all from the film and gives nothing away about the storyline. But from this trailer we get a brief outline of the plot.
This teaser trailer works in the same way as the superman one above as they are both franchises so they already have an existing audience . Although in this trailer we are re-introduced to the characters and reminded of their personalities, this makes the audience re-familiarize with the film.
